Going to a mainstream university has really been starting to change the way I look at things. I think it has not changed who I am as a person, but it sure has impacted my life in a huge way. It is hard trying to maintain a part-time job, study, go to class and still have a steady social life. So many people try to influence me, but I think I have always stayed clear of bad influences. Many of my friends and family support my decision to attend a huge university, but some despise me for it and continue to be jealous of what I am trying to accomplish.
I have learned that you cannot please everyone, and people are going to always hate you for the good things you try to accomplish because you are attaining something great they will never understand. I am grateful for this chance to attend a large university and I will continue to persevere and attain the achievement of graduating from my university.
